The Luigiian Republic’s “National Furry Convention” is now under intense fire, and has been crippled by a breaking scandal that could change the look of the Luigiian Republic for years to come.
Diplomatic relations have been severely hampered by Governor Delobo’s involvement in the Bad Webcomics Wiki, as well as broken relations and dissolved alliances between several nations.
The National Furry Convention was to be replaced by the Luigiian Republic National Convention.
“I have had enough”, Delobo remarked. “As liberal and open-minded as I attempt to be, I cannot have a situation where a group known for deviant sexual practices and wearing fursuits in public places is the title for a national convention. I have had enough.”
Yet the Senate voted 2-3 in favor of keeping the title of Furry Convention for the forseeable future.
Those in favor of keeping the title say that recent developments are not enough reason to dump the name, which has been in place for two years.
“Let him do what he will,” Senator Barbara Saiz (C-MD) said of the development. “But leave the Conventions alone. We must protect them from encroachments from the executive branch.”
